McLeod Law Updated Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic
We continue to monitor the developments with the COVID-19 pandemic hour-by-hour, with a view to safeguarding our people and our community. We also understand the ongoing legal needs of our clients and have been able to maintain our full level of services throughout this crisis.
Given the recognition of the COVID-19 pandemic as a Provincial and Municipal Public Health Emergency, and following recommendations for social distancing, we have implemented internal emergency protocols. Many of our lawyers and staff will now be working remotely from home. Lawyers and staff will continue to provide essential support from our offices, however our physical offices themselves are now closed.
Although many of our people will be working from home, in anticipation of an event such as this, we have the latest technology in place to ensure that you can continue to reach your lawyer, and we will be able to continue working on your legal matters. Please contact us as you normally would, by phone or email.
Meetings will be conducted by teleconference or video-conference through Zoom or Microsoft Teams. We are committed to continuing the exceptional service and practical advice that you are accustomed to.
We recognize that we need to assess our response to this emergency on an ongoing basis, and we promise to keep you informed of any changes to our operations.
We hope that you and your families stay safe and healthy.
Kind regards,
