Jamie Polley of our Condominium Law Group will be speaking at the Alberta Land Surveyors Association AGM in Banff on Court Orders.

At times it becomes necessary to seek the blessing of the Court of Queen’s Bench for intended actions. This session will provide a review of situations where actions can be taken by a surveyor without court involvement and situations where the assistance of the court may be necessary.

Court procedure will be reviewed including:

• How do I start
• What information is required
• Whom may be a necessary party to the legal proceeding
• Who may be entitled to receive notice of the Court application
• Whose consent may be required
