Michelle strives to be the most reasonable person in the room and communicates openly about expectations. She is adept at understanding the concern at heart and researching effective ways to achieve the client’s goal.
She has advocated for clients at the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta. Her court experience includes advancing a successful summary dismissal with costs, discharge of a trustee, applications for accounting and indebtedness to the estate, and security for costs applications. She has assisted senior team members in a multi-party, week-long trial involving a will challenge.
Michelle has been at McLeod since the summer of 2021. During law school, she volunteered with Student Legal Assistance and attended the 19th Vis East Moot on international commercial arbitration and the 2023 Christian Legal Institute. Prior to law school, she performed wet lab research as a research assistant at Foothills Medical. Outside of law, Michelle enjoys volleyball with friends, attending live music events, and time spent with family.
