Emily is an associate in the Family Law group. She brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach to her practice, with a particular interest in matters involving complex financial and business issues.
Emily holds a JD/MBA from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen’s University. During law school, she held several leadership and volunteer roles, including Vice President of Athletics for the Law Students’ Association and volunteer work with Pro Bono Students Canada and the Refugee Hub.
Before transitioning into family law, Emily practiced in corporate and securities law. Her background in business law offers a strong foundation for navigating the financial aspects of property division, support, and related matters.
Known for her practical advice and compassionate style, Emily is committed to guiding clients through challenging transitions with clarity and care. Outside the office, she enjoys sailing, wine bars, road trips, trying new workout classes, and pet-sitting the many dogs in her building.
