Doris is an associate lawyer in the litigation and dispute resolution group. Called to the Alberta Bar in 2022, Doris brings valuable experience in a wide range of civil litigation matters, including employment law, construction law, and corporate disputes, and has appeared before both the Alberta Court of Justice and the Alberta Court of King’s Bench.
Doris is passionate about helping clients navigate complex litigation matters in a client-centric way. She strives to make clients feel comfortable and informed throughout the process, providing clear guidance and strategic solutions tailored to their unique needs.
Doris obtained her law degree from the University of Alberta in 2021, where she was actively involved in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot, helping her team place in the top 75 globally. She also volunteered with Student Legal Services and the Centre for Constitutional Studies. Before law school, Doris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society (with Distinction) from the University of Calgary and studied abroad at Utrecht University in the Netherlands.
Outside of work, Doris enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering in her local Serbian community, and traveling.
